This workshop for beginners is held in a group setting and will give you a first impression of the Ashtanga Yoga method as taught in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). Along with a brief introduction to Ashtanga Yoga philosophy, you will be given the beginning sequence of the Ashtanga Yoga primary series. You will be asked to memorize the sequence so that you may continue self-practice on your own and be better prepared for your next class should you wish you continue with this powerful and transforming practice.
